N2 - Tracks written in CGC media consisting of grains having random anisotropy constant was discussed. 3D micromagnetic model was used. Results showed improvement in thermal stability without compromising signal to noise ratio. The increase in standard deviation reduces signal and increases bit transition irregularity and noise.
