N2 - Simultaneous dry reforming and desulfurization of biogas (biomethane) was investigated with a non-equilibrium pulsed discharge at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure. We found that this system enables to reform biogas without pre-desulfurization, and showed very high energy efficiency. Synthesis gas with the ratio of 1:1 (methane:carbon monoxide) was obtained, and also, hydrogen sulfide was converted into carbon disulfide at the condition of lower methane conversion, and further reaction of carbon disulfide to solid sulfur could be achieved at the condition of higher conversion with a non-equilibrium discharge.
