Size-selective separation of glass beads using the secondary flow in a curved microchannel

抄録

This paper presents a use of the micro-scale benefit of a secondary flow obtained in a curved microchannel, which is unfavorable and negligible in the conventional flow. In specific, we have demonstrated the size-selective separation and sorting of glass beads for biomolecular assays. Their numerical and experimental evaluation has been performed.
