N2 - Intensity distributions of KlLm multiply ionized Kα satellites emitted from Al in Al metal, Cl in NaCl and K in KCl were estimated using the binomial equation based on the semi-classical approximation (SCA). Here the energy loss of projectiles passing through target materials, the self-attenuation of the emitted X-rays in the targets and the shake process were taken into account. Good reproduction of the observed intensity distributions has been given by replacing the nuclear charge by the equilibrium charge or its neighborhood in the calculations of the ionization cross sections.
