This paper presents performance evaluation results of a burst error reduction method (BERM) of CDMA systems. The BERM is made up with anti-fading technologies including a path diversity reception, a transmitting power control and a couple of the interleaver and the de-interleaver for an error control. Compared with the case of 1 PD branch and the normalized low PC rate of 10, the fading range suppression effect of 25 dB for base band demodulated signals is obtained with the 3 PD branches, the normalized PC rate of 100 and the PC step of 1 dB. The 1/15 reduction effect of the average fade duration of -10 dB is also achieved with the interleaver length of 5 msec and the PC step of 0.5 dB.
