N2 - Deployment of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) as a material transportation system (MTS) within a manufacturing plant is becoming more common. It is due to the reasons that AGV systems provide higher flexibility and reliability attributes compared to the other transportation system. In order to establish an AGV system, it is critical for an organization to determine their vehicle requirements. This paper proposes simulation-based vehicle requirement estimation for multi-load AGV operation in manufacturing industry.
