Measurements of air temperature, relative humidity and CO2concentration were undertaken in an elementary school in Tokyo from April 2019 through March 2021. This duration includes both the "pre" and "with" COVID-19 periods. The purpose of this study is to compare the thermal and air environment in classrooms in these two conditions. The average estimated air change rate determined with CO2Concentration in summer 2020 was 6.3 h-1and was 1.4 h-1in summer 2019, respectively. The average air change rate in winter 2020 was 6.0 h-1and was 1.0 h-1in winter 2019, respectively.
